The Opportunity
The Maintenance Technician (Environmental Services Assistant) executes routine repairs and carries out minor maintenance operations.
The Maintenance Technician (Environmental Services Assistant) executes routine repairs and carries out minor maintenance operations.
What You Will Do
Completing minor repair work, which includes repairing doors, locks, window screens and blinds, as well as replacing light bulbs, sockets, and switches.
Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
Patching, painting, and caulking.
Performing regular cleaning duties, which includes sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
Maintaining all outdoor areas as well as shoveling snow and ice as required.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
Knowledge in Joint Occupational Health and Safety regulations aligned with WCB and CCAL Act.
Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or willing to obtain one.
