Position: Clean and Maintain Facilities at Our Place Society
Support Our Place Society as a Facilities Worker by maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment. This casual position involves cleaning, minor repairs, and collaborative teamwork.

As a Facilities Worker, you will ensure all Our Place Society facilities are clean and sanitized. Responsibilities include performing general cleaning tasks, minor maintenance duties, and waste management. You will engage with a diverse range of individuals, demonstrating compassion while executing your responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and disinfect buildings, furniture, and restrooms

• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities

• Dispose of refuse and keep areas organized

• Assist with event setups and furniture arrangements

• Secure premises post-functions and shifts

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 and WHMIS certification

• At least six months of relevant hands-on experience

• Capacity to lift 40 lbs safely

• Ability to learn proper chemical handling

• Strong communication for team coordination
