Become a Custodian Maintenance Worker with the Township of Esquimalt. This role focuses on routine cleaning within Parks and Recreation facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for the community.

The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a motivated auxiliary Custodian Maintenance Worker to join the team. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, your responsibilities will include cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, monitoring pool equipment, and setting up for events. The role requires proficiency in handling various cleaning materials and adjusting pool chemistry to maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning of washrooms and change rooms

• Monitor and adjust pool chemical levels

• Set up rooms for events and functions

• Handle various cleaning materials and equipment

• Conduct routine maintenance of pool equipment

Requirements:

• Valid Pool Operator’s Level 1 and 2 Certificates

• Partial high school graduation preferred

• Current Class 5 B.C. Driver's License

• Clean Driver’s Abstract

• Clear Criminal Record Check
