# Cleaning Attendant / Light Duty Cleaner Full Time##
Job Description Limelight Concierge Services at 777 Herald Street Victoria, BC V8T 0C7 is looking for 1 Full time Permanent cleaner.
Wage: $26.00 per hour
Hours:
Approximately 35 hours per week
Work Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Job Description Limelight Concierge Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Attendant to perform cleaning and light janitorial duties in a residential strata condominium environment in Victoria, BC. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, safe and presentable common areas for residents, visitors and staff.
Main Duties
- Sweep, mop, wash and maintain floors in common areas.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs and other floor coverings.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, ledges and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, sinks, toilets and other fixtures.
- Replenish washroom and cleaning supplies as required.
- Clean and disinfect common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators and amenity areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean windows, mirrors, doors and other glass surfaces.
- Clean walls, doors and other building surfaces when required.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely and properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized manner.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Identify and report maintenance, damage, safety concerns or repair requirements to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform other related light-duty cleaning tasks as required.
Employment Requirements
- No specific formal education requirement.
- Previous professional cleaning, custodial or commercial cleaning experience is required.
- Approximately 1 to 2 years of related cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience cleaning residential strata buildings, condominiums, apartment buildings or similar facilities is an asset.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties, including prolonged standing, walking, bending and repetitive movements.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work the required schedule.
