Maintain clean Victoria ARC facilities as a Cleaner with The Salvation Army, following instructions and supporting residents, employees, and stakeholders. The position requires standing and handling supplies.
Under the Operations Manager, the ARC Cleaner maintains facility cleanliness and presentation. Duties include replenishing supplies, assisting maintenance and laundry, and cleaning equipment. The work supports a positive environment for clients while following The Salvation Army's mission, vision, values, and code of conduct.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean Victoria ARC facilities and capital assets as directed
- Fill cleaning supplies when necessary
- Assist with maintenance duties as needed
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Clean equipment after daily use
- No specific educational requirements
- Six months of relevant cleaning experience encouraged
- Complete required training within six months
- Follow verbal and written instructions cooperatively
- Provide safety work boots and negative T.B. skin test
