The Strathcona Hotel is seeking janitorial staff passionate about cleaning and creating a home away from home for guests. This work covers floors, washrooms, walls, furniture, fixtures, windows, glass partitions, mirrors, carpets, the property, and sidewalks. Staff also remove trash and recycling while completing other janitorial duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors
- Clean, service, and stock washrooms
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Remove trash and recycling around the property
- Passion for cleaning guest spaces
- Availability from 3:00am to 11:30am
- Ability to steam clean or shampoo carpets
- Ability to clean property areas and sidewalks
- Willingness to complete other janitorial duties
