This position focuses on the daily operations and maintenance of the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. As a leader, you will coordinate and prioritize work orders, support maintenance initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Your expertise will help mentor operational crews and enhance teamwork within the maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in overseeing daily operations of the plant
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of facility components
• Guide staff and monitor their activities
• Participate in training and developing operational procedures
• Conduct basic analyses of treatment processes
Requirements:
• Diploma in related discipline
• 7 years' relevant experience and 2 years' supervisory experience
• Certification in Wastewater Treatment Level 3
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence
