About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and advance its mission in ocean discovery and technological innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the organization's strategic direction, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governments, funders, Indigenous partners, industry, and the research community.
This role demands an accomplished and innovative executive with a proven track record in leadership, particularly within complex, technology-intensive, or research-focused environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scientific research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement, with a specific focus on government relations, and will be adept at securing funding, navigating complex governance, and leading organizational growth and change.
