This permanent role involves managing a team of engineers and technologists focused on testing and maintenance of Victoria Class Submarine systems. You'll assess risks, solve complex issues, and ensure dynamic program delivery within a shipyard environment. Mentor your team while directly supporting submarine operators across various operational scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and oversight to the commissioning team
• Manage testing, acceptance, and maintenance activities
• Evaluate risks associated with submarine mission systems
• Mentor engineers and technologists on technical issues
• Respond to program managers for delivery requirements
Requirements:
• 12+ years operational experience in a marine environment
• 5+ years leadership experience in technical teams
• Relevant engineering degree or qualification
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or equivalent
• Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security Clearance
