As a Machinist with over four years of experience, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in both conventional and CNC machining will help us meet high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include programming CNC equipment, supervising junior staff, and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with DOT and Viking Air quality requirements through rigorous inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate aircraft components using CNC and conventional machines
• Program CNC equipment for optimal performance
• Train and direct junior machinists in their tasks
• Conduct inspections to uphold safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the Charge Hand and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements:
• Recognized machinist qualification or equivalent
• 4+ years of relevant machining experience
• Ability to perform physical duties required by the position
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes
• Strong project planning and estimation skills
