Position: Aerospace Tool Maker with CNC Skills

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and repairing tooling for aircraft production. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will oversee the machining of various materials while ensuring adherence to rigorous safety and quality guidelines. Additionally, mentoring junior employees will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fabricate cutting tools and fixtures

• Program and operate CNC machines for part production

• Conduct in-process inspections to meet manufacturing standards

• Plan tool-making projects to stay on schedule and budget

• Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations

Requirements:

• Inter Provincial Tool Maker Trades Qualification required

• Over 5 years of relevant aerospace experience

• Competency with software like Solidworks and Verisurf

• Familiarity with quality assurance in production environments

• Basic welding and material handling skills necessary
