Mechanical Designer Project Coordinator

Design mechanical systems with Solid Works and Fusion 360 at Rainhouse Canada in Victoria, supporting manufacturing projects from concept through production.
Rainhouse Canada seeks a Mechanical Designer / Project Coordinator for design, planning, supplier communication, and hands-on production support. You will create models, drawings, documentation, and bills of materials while coordinating schedules, customer requirements, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery. The work includes prototype builds, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Design components and assemblies using Solid Works and Fusion 360
Produce models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation
Coordinate projects, schedules, priorities, and customer requirements
Communicate with customers and vendors regarding project activities
Support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production builds
Requirements:
Three or more years of design and manufacturing experience preferred
Proficiency with Solid Works and/or Fusion 360
Understanding of machining, fabrication, assembly, and production processes
Mechanical aptitude using tools and measuring equipment
Eligibility for Controlled Goods and Reliability Security Clearance
