The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated Children and Youth Ministry Worker to enhance discipleship and outreach activities. You will coordinate programs, conduct worship services, and engage in community partnerships that support youth development. Mentoring and encouraging youth to deepen their faith in Jesus Christ are vital responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and disciple youth through active engagement
• Plan and evaluate relevant ministry programs
• Conduct creative worship services and Bible studies
• Recruit and train youth leaders and volunteers
• Collaborate with church staff for community support
Requirements:
• High school completion plus specialized courses
• Youth leadership training and experience required
• 1-3 years of experience with youth
• Criminal Police Investigation Check needed
• Ability to lift over 20 pounds and engage in physical activities
