Bayshore Medical Personnel is hiring a Part-Time Mental Health Registered Nurse in Esquimalt, BC. Enjoy a fulfilling role focused on daytime hours with no nights or weekends.
This position is ideal for experienced Mental Health Nurses ready to support military personnel through assessments and therapeutic interventions. You will be responsible for implementing effective care plans and leading counseling sessions featuring CBT and DVT methods. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience and be prepared to provide life skills programming tailored to clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform bio-psychosocial assessments for diverse clients
• Create and execute individualized care plans successfully
• Conduct group and individual therapy sessions effectively
• Address crisis situations with patience and professionalism
• Lead life skills workshops to empower clients
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• Minimum three years of experience in Mental Health
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Commitment to supporting military health services
