At Royal Jubilee Hospital, the Critical Care Cardiac Registered Nurse plays a vital role within the Vancouver Island Health Authority. This position requires a minimum of two years in Critical Care nursing, along with registration from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering nursing care, enhancing safety and quality throughout your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients and residents

• Interpret arrhythmias and operate in critical care settings

• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families

• Organize and prioritize workload efficiently

• Participate in continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• 2 years recent Critical Care nursing experience

• ECG interpretation competency with 75% or higher

• Training in echocardiography and procedural sedation

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
