Location: Esquimalt
Join Bayshore Medical Personnel as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse in Esquimalt, BC. Utilize your nursing expertise in a supportive clinic setting focused on direct patient care.
This position requires delivering direct care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. With at least one year of experience, you will conduct patient assessments, assist with vaccinations, and perform essential therapeutic interventions.
Your role will influence patient health outcomes in a positive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen patients for COVID-19 prior to entering clinics
• Support vaccination efforts with patients effectively
• Conduct thorough patient history and assessments
• Execute selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks
• Educate patients on preventive health measures
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of nursing practice experience
• Completion of a recognized Practical Nursing Program
• Active professional nursing license in British Columbia
• Current First Aid and BLS certification
• N95 fit certificate and WHMIS certification within two years
