Position: Dynamic Mental Health Nurse for Multi-Site Rehabilitation Care
Provide exceptional mental health nursing care in a specialized rehabilitation environment. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver core services, support clients, and implement rehabilitation plans effectively.

This is a pivotal role for a Mental Health Nurse focused on patient care in a community or hospital setting. You will apply your psychiatric nursing experience, working collaboratively with clients, families, and health resources. Your responsibilities will include assessment, treatment, harm reduction, and the development of client-centered rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care in rehabilitation settings

• Assess and implement mental health treatment programs

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on treatment strategies

• Monitor and manage psychotropic medications

• Educate clients and families on mental health practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience

• Current BC registration as RN or RPN

• CPR certification required

• Knowledge of PSR model and treatment methodologies

• Strong interpersonal and crisis intervention skills
