Elevate senior care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Optima Living, providing compassionate support in a home-like environment. Work night shifts on Fridays and Saturdays to ensure residents receive quality care.
Optima Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its dedicated care team. In this role, you will collaborate to develop personal care plans and deliver essential nursing services, including medication administration and health monitoring. Your commitment will foster a respectful, safe, and comfortable atmosphere for residents and families alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement personal care plans with the care team
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Administer medications and provide direct nursing care
• Support move-ins, palliative care, and comfort during transitions
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current license from BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Experience in residential care preferred
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
