Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, BC, is hiring a part time Critical Care Nurse. Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant nursing experience or have completed a critical care course.

Your role will involve planning nursing care and adhering to BCCNM standards to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in crisis

• Follow quality and safety protocols established by VIHA

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families

• Prioritize and organize nursing tasks efficiently

• Conduct ECG readings and arrhythmia interpretations

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Minimum of 2 years critical care experience

• Accreditation in a recognized Critical Care program

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support training preferred

• Capability to perform the physical duties required
