In this important role, you will assess complex health needs and lead care teams to ensure high-quality support for seniors. Your responsibilities include developing care plans and overseeing interventions for residents with critical conditions. Mentoring junior staff while maintaining safety protocols is vital to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead assessments and clinical decision-making processes
• Ensure effective medication and treatment administration
• Guide and mentor care aides and LPNs
• Create and evaluate person-centred care plans
• Maintain accurate records using clinical systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Registration with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives
• Current First Aid Certificate and Food Safe Certification
• Experience in long-term care preferred
