As a Mental Health Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation process at various community locations. You will engage in direct nursing care while ensuring the safety and dignity of all clients. This position requires travel to multiple sites, emphasizing flexibility and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and treatment plans

• Implement education and harm reduction strategies

• Monitor patient behavior and medication responses

• Manage aggressive behavior using non-violent techniques

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members

Requirements:

• Registration as RN or RPN with BC College of Nurses

• Minimum one year of psychiatric nursing experience

• Current CPR certification is essential

• Knowledge of treatment methodologies and client rights

• Excellent communication and planning abilities
