Age Care seeks a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to enhance our residents' quality of life. This role involves collaboration with Registered Nurses, implementing policies, and liaising with physicians to meet care needs effectively. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies with Registered Nurse collaboration
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers
• Liaise with healthcare professionals regarding resident care
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
• Participate in shift reports ensuring effective communication
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
• Knowledge of long-term care legislation and regulations
• Background in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Understanding of health promotion and protection legislation
• Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
