Job Summary:
The Employed Student Nurse/Employed Student Psychiatric Nurse will work under supervision to provide nursing care and support to patients while gaining practical experience in a healthcare setting. This role is ideal for nursing students looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in a real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or psychiatric nurse.
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
- Support patients with daily activities and personal care as needed.
- Document patient interactions and report any changes in condition to supervising staff.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
