As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will practice within the Ambulatory Care setting and clinics like Endoscopy and Minor Surgical specialties. You must possess registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and have either the relevant post-basic education or specialized training in gastroenterology nursing. The position is temporary full-time and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver client-centered care in endoscopy settings

• Collaborate within an inter-professional health care team

• Ensure adherence to ethical and professional nursing standards

• Provide health education to clients and their families

• Manage time and triage client needs efficiently

Requirements:

• Registration as an RN with BC College of Nurses

• Completion of endoscopy nursing education within 3 months

• Knowledge of surgical ambulatory clinic practices

• Ability to navigate interdisciplinary scopes of practice

• Flexibility for ON-CALL rotation
