Provide advanced nursing foot care as an LPN with Nurse Next Door, serving private clients across Greater Victoria. Apply clinical assessment and education skills.
This Foot Care Nurse position delivers professional services in client homes or residential facilities. You will assess feet and lower limbs, create personalized care plans, document findings, and communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams. The work serves Greater Victoria during daytime weekday and weekend visits.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nail, callus, corn, and thickened-nail care
- Identify ulcers, infections, circulation issues, and other complications
- Develop personalized care plans from client needs
- Educate clients about hygiene, footwear, and self-care
- Maintain accurate records and follow sterilization protocols
- Current LPN registration in good standing with BCCNM
- Recognized Advanced Nursing Foot Care Certification
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Clear vulnerable-sector criminal record check
- Professional liability insurance as required
