Stantec is seeking motivated candidates with a passion for archaeology to fill entry- to intermediate-level roles. You will engage in vital fieldwork, collaborate with Indigenous communities, and enhance your skills in cultural resource management. Successful candidates may transition into full-time positions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record archaeological sites and traditional use areas
• Work with supervisors on technical recommendations
• Collaborate with Indigenous representatives on projects
• Collect and analyze data during field surveys
• Assist in excavations and manage field equipment
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology preferred
• Interest in cultural resource management and fieldwork
• Experience in field schools is an asset
• Ability to work away from home for field projects
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is preferred
