Support The Salvation Army's mission as a Shift Supervisor at our new Sydney Thrift Store. Ensure effective daily operations and exceptional service for all customers.
In your role as Shift Supervisor, you'll be crucial to overseeing daily tasks while supporting the Store Manager. Engage with customers and donors, manage store inventory, and maintain service standards to help meet budgets. This position offers dynamic involvement with merchandise processing and team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact with customers to enhance their experience
• Accurately manage customer transactions
• Monitor and maintain inventory and donations
• Assist in merchandising and store layout planning
• Lead training for new staff as a Team Lead
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Strong team collaboration and communication abilities
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently
• Commitment to the values of The Salvation Army
