As the Shift Supervisor, you will operationally support the Store Manager by ensuring efficient Thrift Store functioning. You'll perform tasks from supervising staff to processing transactions, engaging with customers, and keeping the store organized. Leadership skills are crucial as you may drive training and operational standards in the Store Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers and donors in a courteous manner
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions
• Support inventory sorting, pricing, and organization
• Maintain a tidy and appealing store environment
• Monitor store security and operations
Requirements:
• Some high school completed, or equivalent
• Two years of experience in retail or warehouse
• Excellent communication and teamwork aptitude
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs frequently
• Support for the mission of The Salvation Army
