Jim Pattison Toyota Victoria is seeking an energetic, reliable, and organized Valet Attendant to be the pillar of support for our dealership. As a supporting role within our Service department, you'll play a key part in ensuring our vehicles are well presented to our customers.

Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent position offering 40 hours per week. The regular schedule will vary based on dealership operational requirements and may include Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday shifts.
Pay Range
: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly, depending on experience
This role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager of the dealership.
A Day in the Life- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and assist with vehicle drop-off and pick-up in the service drive
- Safely move, park, and retrieve customer and inventory vehicles as needed within the dealership and service areas
- Ensure vehicles are properly staged for service appointments and returned to customers in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service drive, parking areas, and dealership lot
- Conduct basic vehicle checks (e.g., noting obvious damage or concerns) and report issues promptly to service staff
- Assist with coordinating vehicle flow in and out of the service department to ensure smooth operations
- Safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures when operating vehicles and working in high-traffic areas
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times
- Support the service and sales teams as needed to ensure a positive customer experience
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
- Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- This is a physically active role and requires the following:
- Frequent walking throughout the dealership, service drive, and parking areas
- Extended periods of standing and moving throughout the day
- Regular operation of vehicles, including driving, parking, and retrieving customer cars
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (safety conditions are monitored as needed)
- Occasional lifting or moving of light items as required

This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from ICBC.
