What You’ll Do;  As Golf Town’s Department Manager of Fashion Apparel, you will be responsible for telling a “fashion story of golf” through visually appealing product presentation and ensuring timely merchandise flow from the stockroom to the floor. You are accountable for ensuring an exceptional customer experience, for up-to-date staff training and for day operations. We believe in driving sales through a visual experience backed up by the friendliest and knowledgeable service advisors and managers.
Lead and support the sales floor to deliver an exceptional customer experience, drive sales performance, and act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
Schedule, coach, and motivate team members to ensure optimal staffing levels, strong customer service, product knowledge, and achievement of sales goals.
Handle customer concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of service standards.
Execute merchandising, visual presentation, pricing, promotional, and inventory standards to maximize sales opportunities and maintain brand consistency.
Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory flow between the stockroom and sales floor, and communicate product, inventory, and staffing needs to management.
Support associate training, performance development, and ongoing compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales training programs.
Lead team communications through daily huddles and participate in store management meetings to align on priorities and performance objectives.
Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, loss prevention, and cash handling procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.

What You’ll Bring ;
1-3 years of experience in a Fashion retail environment or equivalent relevant experience
1-3 years of clothing/ apparel merchandising is required
Previous management experience would be an asset
Affinity for luxury sport apparel and an interest in golf
Strong communication skills and sound judgment
Prior clothing merchandising and stock planning responsibility required.
Ability to execute company standards successfully.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt to meet a wide range of customer needs.
