Meat Counter Service Team Member

Support Whole Foods Market's meat department as a Meat Counter Service Team Member. Engage with customers, ensure product freshness, and maintain cleanliness while delivering excellent service.

This role combines customer service with essential tasks like stocking, sanitation, and quality checks in the meat department. As a team member, you will learn product knowledge and will be responsible for maintaining appealing displays while adhering to food safety regulations. Your proactive approach in assisting customers and supporting meat team initiatives will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fresh displays by rotating and stocking products

• Assist with the customer sampling program regularly

• Clean meat cases, signs, and equipment as needed

• Report safety hazards and enforce compliance

• Perform opening and closing duties thoroughly

Requirements:

• No prior retail experience required

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours

• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays
