Asset Protection Representative

Join Shoppers Drug Mart as an Asset Protection Representative in Victoria, working to prevent theft and fraud within retail locations. Help create a safe shopping environment while collaborating in the community.

In this role, you will be part of Canada’s largest Asset Protection teams at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an APR, your responsibilities include detecting theft, collaborating with law enforcement, and training staff on Asset Protection policies. With a focus on building trust and partnerships, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud

• Investigate Organized Retail Crime cases with other APRs

• Collaborate regularly with local police services

• Identify potential shrink opportunities in compliance

• Assist in de-escalating incidents with staff

Requirements:

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License

• Knowledge of criminal law and surveillance systems

• Strong initiative and integrity in a dynamic setting

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

• Friendly demeanor and collaborative skills
