Become an integral part of a professional airport safety and security team and help passengers and YYJ airport staff with way finding, access control, and other essential security services. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-profile setting where no two days are the same.

Wage: $22.15 - $24.87/hour

Training Wage: $19/hour

• Proactively assist with inquiries.
• Identify and address hazards, obstacles, and traffic concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility.
• Ensure only authorized individuals access secure areas.
• Complete clear, detailed incident reports.

• Can drive a vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Have prior experience and a valid security license, which are considered an asset. If not, you’ll be helped to acquire your security license.

• Valid Restricted Area Identification Card (Transport security Clearance) is preferred. Airport security guards are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License. Paladin Security will assist in processing the Transport Security Clearance if needed.
• Good problem solving and decision making skills, including working under pressure.
• Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma.

• Minimum High School Education

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
