Elevate guest safety as a Security Officer at Casino Victoria, located in the heart of Victoria, BC.

Your role focuses on safeguarding assets and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Under the guidance of the Security Shift Manager, you will provide essential security services. The Security Officer will monitor activities, manage access, and resolve conflicts. This position requires a proactive approach to maintain safety and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report safety hazards and irregular activities

• Conduct identification checks for compliance

• Escort guests and assist departments as required

• Prepare detailed documentation on incidents

• Participate in the Self-Exclusion program for guests

Requirements:

• Two years of experience in the service industry

• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills

• Valid Serving It Right certification required

• Ability to obtain Gaming Worker Registration

• Previous security training is a plus
