Facility Security Host

Position: Facility Security Host Needed
Join West Shore Parks & Recreation as a Facility Security Host in beautiful Victoria, BC. This part-time role focuses on monitoring safety for patrons during evening and weekend recreational activities.

You will engage with staff to ensure safety protocols are maintained and effectively manage potential conflicts or emergencies.

Your role includes patrolling the premises, enforcing rules, and providing first aid when necessary, making a positive impact on community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patrols on foot or by van

• Ensure adherence to facility rules and Patron Code of Conduct

• Collaborate in handling difficult situations with colleagues

• Manage incident responses and complete documentation

• Assist with closing procedures of facility areas

Requirements:

• Valid Basic Security Training License

• Emergency First Aid with CPR C/AED certification

• Hold a Class 5 BC Driver’s licence

• Past experience with youth services preferred

• Excellent customer service abilities
