Our not-for-profit security organization is hiring part-time and full-time Security Guards. You will manage access control, conduct patrols, and monitor surveillance systems. Excellent communication skills and keen observational abilities are essential in this role to maintain security and assist visitors while ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility

• Conduct regular patrols to deter suspicious activity

• Operate surveillance and alarm systems effectively

• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents

• Prepare detailed incident reports and logs

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security Workers License or willingness to obtain

• Minimum 19 years old and able to get Secret Security Clearance

• Strong observational and communication skills

• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations

• Physically fit for extended standing and patrol duties
