Part-Time Security Guard

Join our dedicated security team as a part-time Security Guard. Experience varied shifts while safeguarding clients across Esquimalt Graving Dock and beyond.

In this role, you'll maintain access control, deter incidents through regular patrols, and collaborate with supervisors. Your strong communication skills will enhance visitor experiences while maintaining critical safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and control facility access for authorized personnel

• Execute routine patrols to identify security threats

• Monitor alarm systems and respond to breaches

• Write incident reports and maintain logs

• Assist visitors and employees with security queries

Requirements:

• Must possess or obtain a BC Security Workers License

• Minimum age of 19 and eligible for Secret Security Clearance

• Excellent observational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle stress in emergencies

• Capable of extended physical activity during shifts
