Position: Full-Time Security Officer
Join Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC as a Full-Time Security Officer, where your focus on safety ensures a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Engage with visitors and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.

This permanent role emphasizes your capability in safeguarding the hotel while providing excellent customer service. You'll greet guests, respond to inquiries, and patrol the hotel premises meticulously. Your responsibilities include acting as a First Aid Attendant and maintaining effective relationships with local security forces, ensuring a comprehensive safety strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure hotel safety for guests and employees

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries

• Research and report incidents as per hotel standards

• Perform regular interior and exterior patrols

• Act as First Aid Attendant during emergencies

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience required

• Valid BC Security License or commitment to obtain one

• First Aid Intermediate 2 certification

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to work all shifts including evenings and weekends
