Position: Security Officer Role at Fairmont Empress
Become a Security Officer at the prestigious Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC, ensuring the safety and security of both guests and staff. In this full-time position, your skills in customer service and safety management will be crucial for maintaining a welcoming environment.

As a key member of the security team, you'll oversee the hotel’s safety measures, perform patrols, and act promptly on any incidents that arise.

Your role includes first aid responsibilities and the importance of maintaining relationships with local security agencies, reinforcing proactive safety policies within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety of hotel grounds and all occupants

• Provide guest support and assistance

• Report and document any security incidents

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the property

• Respond as First Aid Attendant to emergencies

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience preferred

• Holding a valid BC Security License or willingness to obtain

• First Aid Intermediate 2 training

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Flexibility to work various shifts
