Protect the University of Melbourne campus through foot patrols, visitor assistance, and calm communication as a full-time reliever security officer.
MSS Security seeks full-time reliever security officers for a customer-focused University of Melbourne team. The work supports staff and visitors across an active campus environment. Duties include outdoor patrols, campus navigation assistance, secure access checks, and incident reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular outdoor foot patrols across the campus
- Provide directions and escort visitors across campus when required
- Lock and unlock campus property as necessary
- Write detailed incident reports following incidents
- Communicate clearly and calmly with University stakeholders
- Hold full Australian Working Rights
- Hold a current Victorian Security Licence
- Maintain valid First Aid and CPR certificates
- Hold a current driver's license
- Work a 24
* 7 rotating roster and walk 15-25km during shifts
Bring strong communication, accurate reporting, and campus patrol capability to support safety at the University of Melbourne.
