Position: Full-Time Housing Support Worker Overnight
Become an Overnight Housing Support Worker with Threshold Housing Society in Victoria, BC, and make a positive impact on at-risk youth. Guide young adults toward independence and stability in a permanent, full-time role.

The position involves working Sunday to Thursday overnight as the primary support for youth seeking housing. Bring your relevant degree in Social Work or Child & Youth Care and at least 1-2 years of experience to help youth in crisis. Collaborate within a caring team to meet mental health and life skills needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist youth in managing overnight stressors

• Promote individual goals and housing stability

• Ensure safety and comfort for residents

• Participate in team efforts for youth programming

• Document interactions and follow safety protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with vulnerable populations

• ASIST and NVCI training is a plus

• Certifications in Emergency First Aid and Food Safe

• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
