Community Site Supervisor

Position: Community Site Supervisor Role
Take on a transformative role as Site Supervisor at Our Place Society, ensuring a supportive and secure atmosphere in our shelter. Engage with residents and staff to foster community.

Reporting to the Manager of Housing, you'll facilitate safe environments and assist in every aspect of shelter management. Your experience with marginalized populations will help you integrate case management with community resources effectively. This role emphasizes compassionate leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe environment for residents and staff

• Directly support and supervise shelter staff efforts

• Conduct evaluations and manage administrative functions

• Advocate for residents' rights and needs

• Participate in on-call rotations with other supervisors

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent community service experience

• At least two years of supervisory experience required

• Familiarity with addiction and mental health issues

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Effective communication skills with diverse populations
