Position: Housing Support Worker with Youth Focus
Contribute to youth support at Beacon Community Services as a Housing Support Worker. This role is essential for providing safe spaces and positive growth opportunities for participants.

Working at the Mirrors Supportive Housing Facility, you will engage with marginalized youth to stabilize their lives. This position emphasizes crisis intervention, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring participants' living standards meet health and safety requirements. You’ll foster supportive relationships to encourage participant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the supportive housing

• Provide kitchen support and serve meals when needed

• Foster professional relationships with everyone involved

• Act as a first responder during crises

• Teach and model essential life skills to participants

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year experience in direct support roles

• Current Level 1 Occupational First Aid certificate

• Completion of Naloxone and Food Safe training

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification required

• Submit to a Criminal Record Check
