This role at ACEH involves caring for Indigenous youth aged 12-19 in a culturally enriching environment. You'll offer guidance across various life skills while ensuring a sense of safety, belonging, and purpose. Your focus will be on nurturing well-being through effective programming and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the well-being of youth during designated hours
• Implement and oversee visitation and curfew guidelines
• Assist youth in meeting individualized care goals
• Provide transportation for essential activities
• Plan social engagement activities weekly
Requirements:
• Necessary post-secondary education or training
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Completion of Naloxone Overdose Training
• Foodsafe Level 1 certification needed
• Insight into the experiences of Indigenous youth is a plus
