This casual position requires a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) degree and strong communication skills. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, you'll assist patients with personal concerns and collaborate with staff for comprehensive psychosocial support. Related experience in a medical setting is preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients and families with practical problems
• Consult with staff and community agencies on psychosocial matters
• Exercise judgment to address various patient needs
• Maintain effective communication with patients and team members
• Organize workload to meet patient needs effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work degree from accredited institution
• Current registration with BC College of Social Workers
• Experience in a medical or clinical environment
• Strong organizational and priority-setting skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
