Enhance your development skills with ICBC as an Intermediate Developer in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. This hybrid role focuses on web and mobile development, testing, and deployment.
As part of the Information Services Division at ICBC, you'll take on a crucial role in maintaining and improving online tools used daily by teams, partners, and customers. You will support projects through coding and unit testing and leverage your expertise in modern programming languages and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Code and unit test for projects and enhancements
• Provide technical guidance on medium to high complexity work
• Investigate and resolve application-related production problems
• Maintain documentation for application, design, and support
• Participate in Agile practices and code reviews
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java/C#/Python, SQL, JSON/XML
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and observability tools
• Knowledge of REST APIs and automated testing frameworks
• Ability to mentor junior developers through code reviews
