We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator prepares loads and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The shifts are Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 5pm and the wage range is $21.50 - $26 per hour.

• Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
• Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
• Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
• Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
• Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
• Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Valid forklift certification (propane).
• Minimum of two years' experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Basic hand tool skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Sitting and driving for long periods of time.
• Frequently climbing up and down stairs.
• Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight.
