Position: Person Responsible for Aviation Maintenance

Step into the role of Person Responsible for Aviation Maintenance at the Victoria Flying Club, located in Sidney, BC. Ensure aircraft safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive aviation environment.
This key position involves overseeing all maintenance control and activities, working closely with Transport Canada and managing maintenance records. You'll administer the Quality Assurance Program and maintain the Maintenance Control Manual. The role emphasizes your leadership skills and track record in aviation maintenance to foster a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and control maintenance activities and documentation

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and approved organizations

• Develop and administer quality assurance programs

• Provide training for maintenance personnel as necessary

• Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives
Requirements:

• Must hold an M1 AME License from Transport Canada

• Deep understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

• Proven experience in maintenance control

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
