Grow your career with Gordon Food Service as a Seasonal Driver Helper in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. This role not only involves assisting in local deliveries but may lead to a Class 1 training opportunity.
From March to September 2026, this seasonal opportunity allows you to support our Class 1 Local Delivery Driver on designated routes. You’ll help ensure timely deliveries while adhering to GFS operational guidelines. Joining a family-owned company means being part of a supportive community with a focus on development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in product offloading at customer sites
• Follow the driver to deliver products efficiently
• Record delivery details accurately and timely
• Help maintain equipment to ensure safety and compliance
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license
• Lift and manage items weighing up to 80 lbs
• Effective communicator with strong time management
• Positive demeanor with a commitment to service
• Flexible availability for weekend and holiday shifts
