Class 3 Commercial Driver

GFL Environmental seeks a Class 3 Commercial Driver in Victoria, British Columbia, to deliver exceptional waste removal services. If you're friendly, efficient, and focused on safety, we want you on our team!

This Commercial Driver role involves collecting solid waste and recyclables from commercial buildings using specialized equipment. An ideal candidate has at least one year of commercial driving experience and a Class 3 driver’s license. You'll work in a supportive environment dedicated to teamwork and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a side loader or rear loader waste collection vehicle

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documentation

• Collect and load waste or recyclables into the vehicle

• Manage assigned Helper(s) for efficient operations

• Communicate mechanical issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Class 3 Commercial Driver's License is required

• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience

• Physically capable of handling up to 100 pounds

• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance requirements

• Comply with all safety and operational regulations
